A Brief History on Stingray City Sandbar
There are in fact two separate sites: Stingray City lies in 12 feet of water, so is ideal for snorkelers and divers; indeed, it is often billed as the best 12-foot dive in the world. Stingray City Sandbar is where most visitors are taken. Here the water is just 2-4 feet deep, so even non-swimmers can safely stand in the shallow water, surrounded by stingrays. The sandbar is suitable for all ages and offers the best photo opportunities. INFOMRATION PROVIDED BY EXPLORECAYMAN.COM

For an up-close-and-personal encounter where you can walk in waist-deep water with the southern stingrays, you may want to choose The Sandbar. The rays are completely safe, nearly four feet in diameter, and will brush against you with their soft underbellies looking for squid, their favorite food, which you can feed them by hand. Do not lift them from the water, step on them, or torment them. – INFORMATION PROVIDED BY CAYMANRESIDENT.COM
A Brief History on Coral Gardens
Coral Gardens is a popular snorkel spot located in North Sound in Grand Cayman. Grand Cayman is the main island in the Cayman Islands. North Sound is a small area of sea that is protected by a barrier reef in Grand Cayman. North Sound is only about 5 miles in diameter.
